Ghana have been placed in Group C for the qualifiers of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which will begin later this year.
The Black Stars will face Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, and Somalia as they compete for a place in the tournament, which will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The four-time champions will be aiming for a strong qualification campaign after a disappointing run in the 2025 qualifiers, where they failed to win a match and ultimately missed out on the tournament in Morocco.
That setback followed earlier struggles, with Ghana also exiting at the group stage in the two AFCON editions before that.
The qualifying fixtures are set to begin with Matchdays 1 and 2 during the FIFA international window from 21 September to 6 October 2026. Matchdays 3 and 4 will follow between 9 and 17 November 2026.
The final two rounds are scheduled for 22 to 30 March 2027, when all qualified teams for the tournament are expected to be confirmed.
