The Ministry of Education has appealed to the public to support security agencies in locating a teacher from Bole Senior High School who is alleged to have absconded following the circulation of a viral video purportedly showing him engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct with a student inside the school’s science laboratory.
Speaking on Eyewitness News on Wednesday, June 24, Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Clement Apaak stated that the Ministry is treating the incident as a matter of serious concern and has already initiated steps to ensure the individual is held accountable.

Dr Apaak disclosed that the teacher is currently believed to be in hiding, with security agencies actively working to trace and apprehend him.
“Information available to us suggests that the teacher has gone into hiding. Law enforcement agencies are doing their part to locate him, and we encourage members of the public to assist with any information that could lead to his arrest,” he said.

He further emphasised that the ministry is determined to ensure the teacher faces both legal consequences and the appropriate disciplinary measures under the education service regulations.
The Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service (GES) have assured the public that investigations into the matter are ongoing and that the necessary actions will be taken once all relevant facts have been established.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Education Service has interdicted the teacher pending the outcome of investigations into the alleged misconduct.
