Asante Kotoko have eliminated Kwara United from the 2025-26 CAF Confederation Cup with a 1-0 win in the second leg in Nigeria, winning on aggregate 5-3. The victory over Kwara United means Kotoko advance to the next round, where they are set to face Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club (WAC).
The first leg in Accra ended 4-3 in favor of Kotoko, and they managed to defend their slim lead in the return leg in Ilorin, Nigeria, by winning 1-0 to secure the elimination of Kwara United.x+2
Following this success, Kotoko’s next fixture is confirmed against Wydad Athletic Club (WAC), as per the Confederation Cup schedule.
