German Bundesliga club SC Freiburg were present last weekend to assess Ghanaian youngster Prince Amoako Junior, who netted his seventh goal of the Danish Superliga season for FC Nordsjælland.
The 18-year-old winger was on target in a 2-1 win against Viborg FF, maintaining his impressive form in what has been a breakthrough season.
He has now recorded seven goals and five assists in the league and currently tops the Danish top flight in successful dribbles, with 51 completed so far.
Amoako, a product of the Right to Dream Academy, is treading a path similar to fellow Ghanaian stars Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana.
His rapid development has drawn attention from multiple European clubs, with Freiburg among the latest to keep tabs on him.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, the teenager is being mentioned as a possible surprise inclusion in Ghana’s squad for the tournament in North America.
