Nana Agradaa

A recent visit to Nana Agradaa’s Heaven Way Ministries reveals a growing decline in church attendance and activity, marking a significant shift since the embattled televangelist was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.

Nana Agradaa, whose real name is Patricia Asiedu Asiamah, is currently serving a prison term handed down for multiple counts of defrauding congregants under the guise of spiritual financial miracles.

Since Nana Agradaa’s incarceration, her husband Angel Asiamah, who also serves as the church’s junior pastor, has taken on the role of acting head pastor.

He announced a revised church service schedule that now holds fellowship meetings twice a week, on Sundays and Tuesdays, focusing on maintaining the church’s operations despite the turbulence.

This effort seeks to stabilize the church community during a period of uncertainty and dwindling support.

However, the departure of some congregants has been notable. Former members cite persistent public ridicule and insults directed at church attendees as a major reason for leaving.

Many individuals faced social stigma, particularly when traveling to the church, as skeptics accused members of attending merely to receive financial handouts promised by Agradaa’s spiritual claims.

One former congregant revealed that despite the help received from Agradaa including financial support during personal crises the overwhelming public mockery led her to stop attending services over three months ago. Watch the state of the church below
