The Bono East Regional Education Office of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a list of documents that newly recruited teachers must submit as part of the documentation and onboarding process.

The directive is intended for successful applicants from the latest teacher recruitment exercise and specifies the order in which their documents should be arranged before submission.

Documents Required for Documentation

Newly recruited teachers are expected to prepare and arrange their documents in the following order:

  1. GES Headquarters Offer of Appointment Letter/Summary Printout
  2. Acceptance Letter, including the applicant’s phone number
  3. Medical Report – original and photocopy
  4. Degree Certificate – original and photocopy
  5. National Service Certificate – original and photocopy
  6. Teacher’s Licensure Certificate – original and photocopy
  7. WASSCE/SSSCE Certificate – original and photocopy
  8. BECE Certificate – original and photocopy
  9. Birth Certificate/Baptismal Card – original and photocopy
  10. SSNIT Card/Number Printout – photocopy
  11. Ghana Card – photocopy
  12. New Voter ID – photocopy
  13. TIN Number Printout – photocopy
  14. Two passport-sized photographs

Newly Recruited Teachers to Complete Staff Forms

The Bono East Regional Education Office has also announced that successful applicants will be required to complete a newly recruited staff form when they report to the Regional Directorate.

Teachers have been advised to retain copies of all documents submitted during the documentation exercise for their personal records.

The Directorate further indicated that applicants who need photocopying or printing services can access those services at the Regional Education Directorate.

The directive is part of the formal documentation and onboarding arrangements for teachers recruited under the latest GES recruitment exercise.
