Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, have officially become husband and wife after tying the knot in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner and Rodriguez reportedly exchanged vows on Tuesday in an intimate ceremony attended by their five children, bringing their nearly decade-long relationship to a new chapter.
Ronaldo confirmed the marriage through an Instagram post featuring a picture of the couple’s wedding rings and the caption “C❤️G.”

A representative for the Portuguese football star also confirmed the union, saying Ronaldo and Rodriguez were officially married in a private civil ceremony attended by their children.
The couple have been together for approximately 10 years after reportedly meeting in Madrid in 2016 while Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store. Their relationship became public the following year, and they have since built a family together.
In 2017, the couple welcomed twins, Mateo and Eva, through surrogacy. Rodriguez later gave birth to their daughter, Alana Martina.

The family expanded again in 2022 with the birth of Bella Esmeralda. However, the couple also experienced a tragic loss that year when their newborn son, Angel, died during childbirth.
Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Jr., is also part of the family, bringing the number of children in their household to five.
Ronaldo proposed to Rodriguez in 2025, reportedly presenting her with a large diamond engagement ring.
The couple’s wedding had attracted considerable public attention in recent weeks, particularly following reports that they might hold the ceremony at Funchal Cathedral in Madeira.
Thousands of fans reportedly gathered outside the cathedral before it was revealed that the venue was being used for the wedding of another Portuguese couple, Fabio Ramos and Fatima Nicole Cunha Teixeira.
Ronaldo had previously indicated that he and Rodriguez wanted to keep their wedding away from the public spotlight. The Al-Nassr forward had said they planned to marry after the World Cup and suggested that Rodriguez preferred an intimate celebration rather than a large party.
After almost a decade together, Ronaldo and Rodriguez have now officially entered marriage, surrounded by their children in a private ceremony in Portugal.
