The Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has released details on how to apply for admission into Ghana’s public colleges of education for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Individuals interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) are encouraged to complete their applications within the specified period.
Application Deadline
All applications must be submitted no later than August 31, 2026. Applicants are advised to apply early to avoid delays and improve their chances of gaining admission into their preferred institution.
Entry Requirements
WASSCE/SSSCE Candidates

WASSCE applicants must obtain credit passes (A1–C6) in six subjects, including:

Core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies

Three relevant elective subjects

SSSCE candidates must also secure credit passes (A–D) in six subjects, following the same structure.
GCE Advanced Level Applicants

Must have passes in at least three subjects, with one being Grade D or better

Must also hold credit passes in five GCE O-Level subjects, including English, Mathematics, and a Science or Social Science subject
TVET Applicants

Must possess a Certificate II in three related trade areas or a NABPTEX qualification
