Popular Kumawood actor Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, also known as Dr Likee, has donated GH¢76,026 to support indigent patients receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
The donation is intended to help settle outstanding medical bills for vulnerable patients who are unable to afford the cost of their treatment while also alleviating the financial burden on their families.
The philanthropic initiative was carried out in partnership with Hubert Kyei-Mensah, popularly known as Overmars, founder of the N.B. Sika Foundation.

The foundation collaborated with the actor to provide much-needed support to patients facing financial difficulties.
Beyond the monetary contribution, Dr Likee also donated a significant quantity of detergents, baby formula and nappies to enhance patient care, particularly for mothers and children receiving treatment at the facility.
The cheque and assorted items were presented to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services at KATH, Ms Comfort Asoogo, who received them on behalf of the hospital’s management.
Hospital officials expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting that the donation will directly benefit several patients who are struggling to pay their medical bills.

The support is also expected to strengthen the hospital’s efforts to deliver quality healthcare services to all patients, regardless of their financial circumstances.
