The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced that the online registration for the 2025/2026 service year will begin on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and end on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

This decision comes after President John Dramani Mahama directed the Authority to introduce a more reliable registration system following a Technical and Forensic Audit of the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP), which revealed several deficiencies.

As a result, the NSA has been tasked with developing and deploying a new digital platform designed to enhance transparency, security, and real-time verification throughout the registration process.

In a statement, the Authority announced that all registrations completed in June 2025 have been declared null and void. It instructed all prospective service personnel to re-register, citing concerns about data integrity and inconsistencies particularly in applicants’ ages detected during the earlier registration exercise.

The NSA further assured that all genuine applicants from the June registration would receive refunds of their service fees.

“All previous registrations from June 2025 have been declared null and void. Every prospective service personnel must re-register on the new platform,” the statement emphasized.

The Authority also disclosed that step-by-step registration guidelines would be made available on its newly launched website, www.gnsa.gov.gh, starting Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Additionally, the NSA announced a series of IT reforms and internal control measures to combat payroll fraud and improve the timely payment of allowances. It revealed ongoing collaboration with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department to enhance financial accountability and said it would introduce periodic efficiency audits.

According to the statement, all national service personnel are expected to report to their assigned stations on Saturday, November 1, 2025, while the official service year begins on Monday, November 3, 2025
