The National Service Authority has generated Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for trained teachers who qualify to register for the 2026/2027 national service year.
In total, 14,349 graduates from accredited colleges of education have had their PIN codes released, allowing them to begin the national service registration process.
The Authority has advised all eligible graduates to visit the official portal to retrieve their PIN codes before proceeding with the online enrolment.
Portal for PIN Retrieval
Qualified applicants can obtain their PIN codes through the official portal of the National Service Authority. Prospective personnel must first retrieve their PIN before they can complete the online validation and registration steps.
How to Check Your NSS PIN Code
The Authority outlined the following process for prospective national service personnel:

Visit the official NSS PIN retrieval portal.

Click on the “Portal” section on the homepage.

Choose the option to check or retrieve your PIN code.

Enter your Student Identification Number.

Provide your Date of Birth in the required format.

Submit the details to view your NSS PIN code and status.
Once the PIN code is displayed, applicants can proceed with the next stage of the registration process.
Registration and Payment
After retrieving the PIN, applicants must complete their online registration on the Authority’s official portal. As part of the process, each applicant is required to pay a GH¢82.00 registration fee through mobile money on any network before gaining access to the enrolment platform.
Deadline for Registration
The registration exercise for trained teachers began on March 9, 2026, and will end on March 20, 2026. The Authority has urged all qualified graduates to complete the process within the stated period to avoid delays in postings and placements.
Compulsory National Service
According to the National Service Authority Act 2024, every Ghanaian aged 18 or older who graduates from an accredited tertiary institution, including universities and colleges of education, is legally required to undertake national service.
Management of the Authority has therefore encouraged all prospective service personnel to follow the official procedures and complete their enrolment early to ensure a smooth registration process.
