The National Service Authority has issued Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes to 14,349 trained teachers to allow them to register for the 2026/2027 national service year.
In a statement released on March 9, 2026, the authority explained that the PIN codes are intended for qualified graduates from accredited colleges of education, enabling them to begin the enrolment process for the mandatory national service programme.
According to management, 36 out of the country’s 49 accredited colleges of education have submitted their graduate lists so far. As a result, PIN codes were generated only for graduates from those institutions that have already provided the necessary data.
Eligible graduates are expected to visit the official portal of the National Service Authority to retrieve their PIN codes. This can be done by entering their student identification numbers along with their dates of birth.
To complete the registration process, prospective service personnel must first pay a registration fee of GH¢82.00 via mobile money on any network before they can access the online enrolment platform.
The registration exercise started on March 9, 2026, and will end on March 20, 2026. Authorities are therefore urging all qualified graduates to complete their registration before the deadline.
