The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that regional postings for successful applicants in its ongoing 2026 teacher recruitment exercise are now available on the official recruitment portal.
In a statement issued by the GES Public Relations Unit on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the Service reminded applicants that recruitment into the Ghana Education Service remains completely free and cautioned the public against individuals demanding money in exchange for employment.

According to the statement, successful applicants can now log into the recruitment portal using their vouchers to access their regional posting details at no cost.
The GES also disclosed that applicants who have been successfully posted are expected to report to their respective Regional Education Offices from August 7, 2026, to begin the onboarding process.
GES warns against recruitment fraud
The Service advised applicants to ignore phone calls, text messages, or any other communication from persons claiming to be GES officials who request payment to facilitate recruitment.
It urged anyone who receives such fraudulent requests to report the matter to the Ghana Police Service, stressing that no payment is required at any stage of the recruitment process.

Successful applicants to report from August 7
The Ghana Education Service stated that all successful candidates must report to their assigned Regional Education Offices from Friday, August 7, 2026, to commence the necessary onboarding procedures.
Applicants are encouraged to access the recruitment portal promptly to confirm their regional postings and prepare the required documentation before reporting.
