The Ghana Education Service has announced that its recruitment portal will officially open on April 10, 2026, for graduates from Colleges of education who have completed both their studies and national service to apply for permanent teaching positions.

To facilitate a smooth application process, applicants are required to provide specific personal details.

These include their employment category (Teaching),

Title,

Full name

Any previous name (if applicable)

Gender

Date of birth

Nationality

Marital status

Contact number

Email address

Residential address

Ghanaian languages spoken.

In addition, candidates must submit relevant academic and professional information such as:

The name of their college,

Index number

Completion date

National Teaching Council licensure number and status

National Service Scheme (NSS) number, as well as the district and region of their NSS posting.

Applicants are also expected to provide their SSNIT number, programme studied, major and minor courses, and their preferred regions for posting (first, second, and third choices).

Applicants will need to upload key documents, including their birth certificate, WASSCE certificate, college certificate, and licensure certificate.

GES has advised all candidates to carefully review their applications before submission to ensure accuracy, noting that the information provided will be used for official records, making it essential to avoid any errors.
